Greetings and welcome!  

Have continued doing Reiki in RL and in SL.  

I made a new Reiki friend, Drew.. who in SL normally looks pretty normal.  However, the other day, he told me he had gotten a Reiki table like mine, and offered me a session on his new table on at his place.    SL being what it can be, I was a bit surprised, but not terribly when my friend looked a bit different then usual. 

 

But again, SL being what it is.. one can never really know what ones' friend might look like in world from one time to the next. But I did find it photo worthy, in addition to a amazingly wonderful session with him!  He has very strong energy. and I'd had a very very rough week. 

So here is a pic of my friend Drew giving me Reiki at his place.  Its a lovely cabin with a cozy fire and a piano as you can see.  He worked on me for a good while and I felt much better after he was done!!  Was a good pre-New Years treat!!! 

I am working on a visual tour of the SL Reiki Center to be posted shortly.

It's Been a While, but I'm Back!

So, here I am, back again.  Hadn't realized so much time had gotten away from me here.  It's been a busy time in Second Life though!  I have a lady veteran, Ani.. who I've been working on for over a year now. She has some pretty bad PTSD and often has a problem sleeping.  I've been lucky enough to have an opportunity to give her Reiki on many, many occasions over the year. Both in SL, and distance healing in general. 

In fact..I got to meet Ani and her lovely daughter in real life while on a driving trip back east with a friend.  It was wonderful to put such a lovely smiling face with the avatar from SL.  We keep the sessions ongoing.  Have done it for one of her friends too.

And... recently, I joined the US Veterans group in SL, being a Navy veteran myself on 11/11/11.. seemed appropriate for sure!   Since then, I've been able to do Reiki on a couple of other veterans and am always working on doing more. Will be posting more often now that things are picking up and I have more stories to tell.

Reiki in Second Life.. A new idea for a blog.

Welcome to any who find their way here.


I became a Reiki Master in 1998.. ever since my first attunment, I've never felt helpless to be of assistance to someone in pain of any sort, be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.  The Reiki runs and does what the person needs most.  I can put my hands down with confidence I can't mess it up, it can't hurt them and can only be of benefit. And some Reiki is always better then no Reiki from my experience.


In level two, we learn to do 'Distance Reiki', meaning we can send it to anywhere in time or space.  I have found that giving distance Reiki in Second Life is highly effective.  I use a stuffed bunny as a focal point for whomever I am sending Reiki to in Second Life.  My favorite place to give Reiki in SL is on the dock over the water.  I have sound there of birds and wind chimes and lapping waves if one wants to listen to it.  


So, this is a brand new blog, with a new idea.. well, at least as far as I can tell.  This blog is specifically to bring Reiki practitioner's and patients together and to expand opportunities for healing.  I have run a Reiki Center in the 3d world of Second Life for a couple of years now.  Have met people from all over the world.  It's been stunning. 


 I run into folks who don't know anything about Reiki in SL, and give them an opportunity to experience it. I know there are folks who may not have a chance to get out or even know a Reiki practitioner in their area, and to them, I'd like to offer Second Life as a viable option to experience Reiki.  


And for Reiki practitioners, who may not have much opportunity to do Reiki and would like to, then Second Life can also offer them a opportunity to do so from wherever they are.  And if a practitioner and a patient happen to be in the same location in RL and it seems like a good connection, then perhaps SL can contribute back to RL. 


We can all come together as a unique community and that is what I hope will happen with this blog, and with the Second Life Reiki Center and Clinic.  So please, drop on by if you get a chance!
